(ShareCast News) - The European Central Bank is wary of setting a predetermined end-date for its asset purchase programme, preferring to keep it open-ended and dependent on the incoming economic data.
According to three sources familiar with the discussions, the ECB was keen to not set a potentially distant date at which it would cease its bond-buying, allowing it to retain flexibility should the situation sour, Reuters reported.

Among the incoming economic data, wages would be a special focus of rate-setters, the sources reportedly added.
