Notice of cyber security incident
"Fresnillo plc (the "Company") announces that it has been the subject of a cyber security incident which has resulted in unauthorised access to certain IT systems and data. Upon becoming aware of this incident, response measures in accordance with Company protocols were initiated immediately.
The Company's IT experts, in coordination with external specialists, are taking all measures to investigate and assess the scope of this incident.
All business units continue their activities and no material operational or financial impact has been experienced or is foreseen. This will be assessed on an ongoing basis until the situation is resolved.
The Company will provide a further update as and when appropriate.
Fresnillo plc takes the issue of cyber security extremely seriously and will continue to fully investigate this incident and take all appropriate measures.
