Transaction in own shares
Prudential plc (the "Company") announces today it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 5 pence each through Goldman Sachs International (the "Bank") on the London Stock Exchange in accordance with the authority granted by shareholders at the Company's 2024 Annual General Meeting (the "Purchase"). The Purchase was effected in accordance with the agreement entered into with the Bank, as announced on 23 June 2024.

Lowest price paid per share: GBP 6.2820
Highest price paid per share: GBP 6.4700
Average price paid per share: GBP 6.4101
The Company intends to cancel the purchased shares. Following the above transaction, the Company will have 2,671,079,755 shares in issue.
Therefore, the total number of voting rights in the Company will be 2,671,079,755 and this figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator when determining whether they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
All shares were purchased from the Bank as an on-exchange transaction subject to the rules of the London Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Code on Share Buy-backs.
