Alien Metals beams up new chairman
Alien Metals chairman Dennis Edmonds stepped down from the exploration and development firm with immediate effect.
Edmonds, who'd been acting as Alien Metals' executive chairman over the last year, tended his resignation from the AIM-listed group's board on Friday.
As a result, non-executive director Dan Smith was elevated to chairman as the firm continues to work on recently appointed chief executive officer Peter Taylor's growth strategy.
Chairman Dan Smith said: "As a board, we thank Dennis for his contribution in guiding the company over the past year and wish him best for the future.
"We remain excited by our Mexican asset portfolio through which we are working to realise value for shareholders.”
As of 1020 BST, Alien Metals shares had picked up 3.70% to 0.14p.
