Amaroq Minerals, a mining company with significant gold and strategic mineral assets in southern Greenland, announced a brief delay in the settlement of its recent fundraising initiative.

The AIM-traded firm said the closing of the fundraising, which involved the issue of 32,034,664 common shares under the UK placing, Icelandic placing, and Canadian subscription, was originally scheduled as per announcements on 3 and 4 December.

However, a delay had stemmed from a late receipt of funds from one subscriber.

The company said it now expected the settlement and admission of the shares to occur on 17 December.

At 1111 GMT, shares in Amaroq Minerals were up 1.78% at 102.8p.
