Andrew Roberts to join 1Spatial as chairman

Spatial software and solutions company 1Spatial announced on Tuesday that Andrew Roberts was joining the board as independent non-executive chairman.
The AIM-traded firm said Roberts was bringing “significant experience” to 1Spatial from both a technology and equity capital markets perspective.
He led The Innovation Group from 2009 until its sale to Carlyle Group in 2016 for £500m, and has also been chairman of international supply chain software business Kewill, non-executive director and chairman of UK IT services business Civica, and non-executive chairman of Vega Group until its sale in 2008 to Finmeccanica for £61m.
Mr Roberts started his career at ICL and then led the management team that turned around private-equity owned Data Sciences, which was sold to IBM in 1996.

“Andy will bring substantial industry experience at this exciting stage of the 1Spatial's development.

Andy Roberts said he was pleased to join 1Spatial, a company at a “very exciting” stage of its development with technology and IP.
