Atalaya Mining awaits judgment in dispute with Astor

European mining and development company Atalaya issued a statement on Friday saying that, as anticipated, the case at the Royal Courts of Justice regarding the claim by Astor had now been heard.

The AIM-traded firm said the hearing was surrounding the payment of deferred consideration.

“The company now awaits a final decision from the judge, who has not indicated when the judgment will be handed down,” Atalaya’s board said in the statement.

“The company will update the market further in due course.”
