eCommerce business Bango said on Monday that Carolyn Rand had stepped down from both its board and her role as chief financial officer, effective immediately.

Rand, who joined Bango as interim CFO in October 2018, will be replaced by Global Invacom CFO Matthew Garner but will remain with the AIM-listed company over the coming year as a consultant, ensuring a smooth and orderly transition.

Chief executive Paul Larbey said: "Matt brings a wealth of international experience managing hi-tech businesses, which will help shape the next phase of Bango's growth.

"I would like to thank to Carolyn for all her hard work at Bango. She leaves the board following a strong 2020 that saw Bango deliver 70% growth and record profitability."

As of 1120 GMT, Bango shares were up 2.88% at 214.0p.
