Blancco Technology, the mobile security software provider, confirmed sales and profits would hit full year forecasts after it enjoyed continued good trading in the second half of its financial year.

The AIM-listed company's expansion around the globe saw it open four new sales offices — one covering the Middle East and North Africa region (MENA), one representing Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg (Benelux), and one each for India and China — as it sees “strong opportunities” globally for its services in the coming year.

The quartet of new offices helped it lift annual revenues 49% in the year to 30 June, though 34% of the group's growth was organic, driven by expansion from its "strategically important" new products, Mobile Erasure and Live Environment Erasure, and geographically by the Americas business.

Looking forward, chief executive Patrick Clawson said: “We are looking forward to further growth in 2016/17 and further extending our global reach. Demand for our products continues to be strong, driven by a growing awareness of the importance of data sanitation and regulation.”

In April, the group disposed of its repair services business leading to it being reclassified in the software & computer services sector, a sub-sector software in the FTSE indices, having previously been classed as support services.

The group will announce its final results on 20 September 2016.

Blancco's share price was up 12.15% at 211.40p by 1040 BST on Wednesday.
