Burford Capital names Jordan Licht as CFO
Updated : 09:10
Asset manager Burford Capital has appointed Jordan Licht to the role of chief financial officer.
Burford said on Tuesday that Licht, previously the chief operating officer of both Caliber Home Loans and Newrez, will join the group as part of an effort to complete its transition to a full US SEC-registered issuer and position itself more prominently with US investors.
The AIM-listed group stated Licht, who will bring "deep" US capital markets and investor experience, will replace Ken Brause, who will now become a senior advisor to Burford and assist in the CFO transition.
Chief executive Christopher Bogart said: "Jordan brings an impressive combination of deep finance, market, and strategic skills to continue elevating Burford's finance function, and we are excited to have him join the senior management team as Ken's successor."
As of 0910 BST, Burford shares were up 0.45% at 779.50p.
