Cambridge Cognition elevates Mick Holton to executive board
Brain health technology company Cambridge Cognition announced on Wednesday that Michael ‘Mick’ Holton would join the board as an executive director, with immediate effect.
The AIM-traded firm said Holton had been serving as chief financial officer since 19 January, during a period of handover from its former CFO Nick Walters, who stepped down from the board at the annual general meeting on 27 May.
“Mick has had an extensive career in finance,” the board said in its statement.
“Prior to joining the company, he was Interim CFO at AIM-quoted Biome Technologies and prior to that, CFO at Infinis, a renewable energy generator.
“Mick has also held senior finance roles at Alliance Boots - now part of Walgreens Boots Alliance - and Kidde - now part of United Technologies Corporation.”
The company said Holton qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte in 1998.
