Cerillion announced on Thursday that Suriname's leading telecommunications provider, Telesur, had now implemented its billing, charging, and customer relationship management software solutions for its mobile services.

The AIM-traded firm said the initial phase of the project, which involved migrating from legacy systems to Cerillion's platform, had been completed, allowing Telesur to launch a new online portal and mobile app.

It said its business support systems/operations support systems (BSS/OSS) suite would allow Telesur to take a leap forward in enhancing its mobile services.

With the migration to the new platform, Telesur was now able to introduce products to the market more swiftly, and with reduced effort compared to its previous systems.

The firm said the implementation of Cerillion's solution was the first step in Telesur's digital transformation, with the next phase set to involve extending the platform to encompass Telesur's fixed-line services.

“We are delighted to celebrate the successful implementation of our pre-integrated BSS/OSS solution for Telesur,” said chief executive officer Louis Hall.

“This project underscores our commitment to empowering businesses with innovative solutions that drive digital growth, elevate customer experience, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

“We congratulate Telesur on this important milestone and are excited to continue supporting their future initiatives.”

At 1423 BST, shares in Cerillion were up 0.59% at 1,358p.
