AIM-listed financial services company City of London Group said on Tuesday that director Jason Granite has resigned.

In a very brief statement, the group said it wished to “thank him for his contribution”.

Granite was only appointed to the role of executive director in April.

Later on Tuesday, the company said Andrew John Crossley has been reappointed as a director with immediate effect.

On 17 August, City Of London announced that two of its non-executive directors, Andrew Crossley and Andrew Crowe, had resigned.

Meanwhile, group finance director Howard Goodbourn resigned back in March.

At 1250 BST, City of London shares were down 26% to 3.07p.
