Green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company Clean Power Hydrogen announced on Tuesday that it has been awarded CE-marking for its membrane-free electrolyser (MFE) stacks.

The AIM-traded firm said the certification followed a declaration of conformity received after an independent assessment by a notified body.

It said the CE-marking confirmed that Clean Power Hydrogen’s manufacturing processes for the MFE110 and MFE220 electrolyser stacks complied with EU directives and harmonised standards.

The stacks were described as crucial components of the company’s electrolysers, produced at its Doncaster facility and supplied to licence partners.

“We are pleased to have received the CE marking for the process of making our stacks, as they are a fundamental element of our market-leading technology,” said chief executive officer Jon Duffy.

“We are committed to developing a safe, sustainable product and our priority continues to be reaching commercialisation and delivery of our MFE technology.”

At 1124 BST, shares in Clean Power Hydrogen were down 3.91% at 11.05p.
