CloudTag appoints Peter Griffith as chief creative officer

Digital health marketeer CloudTag appointed Peter Griffith as chief creative officer on Monday.

Griffith had experience in commercial consumer electronics device design, managing various global development teams which combined had sold to over 1.5bn people spread across 150 countries.

He spent nine years at Nokia and following his department's acquisition by Microsoft he became head of phones design.

The industry veteran was educated at Nottingham Trent University and the Royal College of Art.

AIM-listed CloudTag´s boss said: "I have found an exciting and refreshing new challenge. I was attracted by the strength of their technology and the undoubted opportunities for the products they are developing. I am looking forward to being part of CloudTag's imaginative and driven team and helping to build a successful brand which consumers will benefit from the world over."

Chief executive Amit Ben-Haim said: "We are delighted to welcome someone of Peter's experience and expertise to CloudTag and we are confident that he will make an immediate contribution to our success. It is another endorsement of our technology and its prospects that we have been able to recruit such a respected and successful consumer electronics goods design expert to our business."

Shares in AIM-listed CloudTag closed the session down 2.54% to 5.75p at close.
