AIM-listed technology company Cohort has won contracts from Transport for London to develop and provide support for its digital traffic enforcement system and to develop a parking enforcement mobile app, which together will be worth £7m.

Cohort's subsidiary SEA originally developed the digital traffic enforcement system and has provided support since it entered into service in 2009.

Chief executive Andy Thomis said: "I am delighted that SEA continues to be involved in this important Transport for London programme. The addition of the parking enforcement solution system to work with digital traffic enforcement system is an exciting development.

"This adds further visibility to our order book, which underpins a significant proportion of revenues for Cohort's current financial year."

Shares in Cohort were up 1.56% to 358p at 0837 GMT.
