Connemara confirms presence of Ireland's high-grade gold

Exploration company Connemara confirmed the presence of a high-grade gold in hole 17-MR-08 at its 100%-owned Inishowen Gold Project, in Donegal, Ireland.

The AIM listed company reported that Hole 17-MR-08 intercepted high gold mineralisation from 21.5m grading at 14.25g per tonne of gold over 0.5m.

Prospecting also located gold in bedrock within the vicinity of Meeneragh which returned 0.14g per tonne of gold.

Connemara said it also discovered gold in the Green Bed member at 0.14g/t gold, 500 metres away to the northeast of the drilling location.
