There was good news for The Conygar Investment Company on Monday, with the firm revealing it had obtained a resolution from the Conwy County Borough Council to grant planning permission for the development at Llandudno Junction.
The AIM-traded property investment and development group said the council resolved at its meeting on 10 February to grant permission for the development, including the demolition of the existing structures and preparatory earthworks for the site, a retail superstore, a petrol station, four new restaurant units, a new access road from the A55, landscaping and infrastructure works.
The permission would be formally granted on the signing of an S.106 agreement, the principles of which had already been agreed with the council.
"We are pleased that our planning application for the proposed retail and leisure development at Llandudno Junction has been approved by the planning committee," said Conygar chief executive Robert Ware.
"We look forward, in partnership with Conwy County Borough Council, to progressing this exciting development with the benefits it will bring in terms of employment and economic regeneration to Llandudno Junction and the county," he added.
