Coral Products receives new tote order, working on plastic roof tiles

Designer, manufacturer and supplier of plastic products Coral Products announced on Monday that its Haydock Mouldings division has received a further order of £0.8m in relation to the supply contract of totes for a customer's UK fulfilment centres.

The AIM-traded firm said it was currently fulfilling previously-announced orders., with production for the latest order planned to begin in March and be completed in June.

In addition, it said it was also pleased to announce that, after several months of discussion and “intense” product development, it received a tooling order from a building manufacturer which it hoped would lead to a “significant” sales order of plastic roof tiles.

The board did, however, caution that there could be no certainty as to the outcome of that at this stage.

“We are very pleased to receive this further tote order from a prestigious customer and also hope that the new tooling order will lead to significant sales in due course,” said chief executive officer Mick Wood.
