Curtis Banks promotes Jane Ridgley to COO

AIM-listed financial services company Curtis Banks has promoted Jane Ridgley from the role of chief services officer to chief operating officer.

Richard Valentine, the previous COO, has stepped down from the role and resigned from the group with immediate effect

Ridgley has been a member of the company’s general management committee since its formation last year and brings "a wealth of operational experience" to the job.

Chief executive officer Rupert Curtis: "On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Richard for his contribution to the company over the years and I'm delighted that we have an extremely capable replacement in Jane."

At 1135 BST, the shares were up 0.9% to 338p.
