CVS Group acquires Highcroft Pet Care

Veterinary services provider CVS Group has completed the acquisition of Highcroft Pet Care for £7.4m.

CVS said the deal for the Bristol-based company, which operates an integrated services, will provide it with its first significant presence in the area.

London-listed CVS added Highcroft already has out-of-hours and referral services in place, which will receive business from the other CVS practices.

"CVS looks forward to working with the Highcroft team to continue to deliver high levels of expertise and service as we deliver the next phase of growth together," said group chief executive Simon Innes.

CVS shares were up 0.82% to 674.00p at 1459 BST on Monday.
