Dan Bell appointed new group CEO at Team17

Video games developer Team17 announced the appointment of Steve Bell as its new chief executive officer on Tuesday.
The AIM-traded company said Bell, who currently serves as the global group chief executive of marketing agency Iris Worldwide, would officially join the board on 4 September and assume the role of group CEO from 1 January.
Current group CEO Debbie Bestwick would continue in her position until 31 December, working closely with Bell to ensure a seamless handover and a smooth transition of responsibilities.
As previously announced, Bestwick would then take on a new role as a non-executive director from1 January.
The Team17 board said Bell would bring a wealth of experience in the digital marketing industry.
As a co-founder of Iris in 1999, he held various senior leadership positions within the company.
Since 2021, Bell had served as global group CEO, overseeing more than 1,000 employees across 14 offices worldwide
Under his leadership, Iris had collaborated with major global brands, leveraging their expertise in brand and digital marketing strategy.
Team17 said Bell had been “instrumental” in driving Iris' commercial success and spearheading its mergers and acquisitions strategies.
Before co-founding Iris, Bell worked at Arc Worldwide, an advertising and retail agency, where he spent more than five years managing integrated accounts for high-profile clients.

At 1331 BST, shares in Team17 Group were up 2.86% at 360p.
