Deltex Medical Group launches e-learning initiatives

Deltex Medical Group has launched its first open access Oesophageal Doppler Monitoring (ODM) e-learning courses.

The AIM-listed company announced the programmes on Wednesday, of which a UK and a US version have been launched.

The course allows customers to learn the fundamentals of the company’s oesophageal doppler monitor at their own space and pace

Chief executive Ewan Phillips said he has been pleased with the response to the package, particularly in the US.

“Our new online platform is more flexible, requires lower grade broadband access and avoids the cost and administrative burden of individual user licences."

Deltex said it plans to make Spanish modules available shortly and is working towards versions in other languages, as well as covering more advanced uses of the equipment.
