Eckoh wins four year contract with Capita

Secure payment provider Eckoh has won a four-year contract with its UK channel partner, Capita Customer Management, to provide its advanced call management technology to a mobile virtual network operator, for an undisclosed fee.

Eckoh and FTSE 100 listed Capita will provide EckohRoute, which using Eckoh's carrier-grade platform, will enable the client to manage call delivery and distribution, emergency prompts, emergency call delivery and opening times. It will also allow the client to fulfil its long-term customer self-service objectives.

The company said it will initially develop a number of self-service applications for the mobile virtual network operator that integrate with EckohRoute.

Eckoh’s chief executive Nik Philpot, said: "With the deployment of our sophisticated and proven call management solution, the client will be able to offer an unparalleled, responsive customer self-service experience. Today's announcement reinforces our market-leading position in delivering call management infrastructure solutions as well as demonstrating the value of our strategic channel partner relationships."

Shares in Eckoh were down 0.64% to 39p to 1049 GMT.
