Eleco names Mark Castle as chairman
Software business Eleco named Mark Castle as its chairman on Monday, following a "full and broad" recruitment process.
Eleco said Castle, who was already acting as interim chair, had been appointed as the permanent chair of the board with immediate effect.
In addition to heading up the AIM-listed firm, Castle is also a director at Taylor Wimpey and Mace Group.
Chief executive Jonathan Hunter said: "Despite having a field of strong candidates in the recruitment process, the in-depth knowledge of the built environment and wider industry which Mark brings with him are simply unparalleled.
"He has proven himself to be an excellent chair of the board over the last five months and his expertise will be invaluable as Eleco seeks to expand its market presence and strengthen customer relationships."
As of 0855 BST, Eleco shares were up 1.45% at 83.70p.
