Empyrean Energy on track for completing flow-testing at California based Dempsey 1-15 well

Empyrean Energy, the oil and gas development company with interests in China, Indonesia and the United States, said it has been informed by Sacgasco Limited, the operator of the Dempsey 1-15 well in the Sacramento Basin, onshore California,that preparations for completing and flow-testing the Dempsey 1-15 well are continuing as planned.

In particular, Empyrean CEO Tom Kelly highlighted the significant gas shows during drilling at the well thus far.

"With significant gas shows observed whilst drilling we are eager for the completion of the Dempsey well. Sacgasco has been putting all the necessary preparations in place for the upcoming testing operations including the stringent testing of the equipment to ensure a safe operation.

"The gas meter station at the Dempsey well which is owned by the JV is ready for gas flows to allow any commercial discovery to be fast tracked into production and sales, and we look forward to providing the market further information as testing unfolds."
