eServGlobal on Thursday inked two new contracts for its flagship PayMobile solution with existing customers in the Middle East, representing a combined total value of approximately €1m.

The first contract is an upgrade project valued at €0.6m with a customer in the United Arab Emirates, which will see the digital transactions technology company provide an upgrade to its mPOS (mobile point of sale) solution.

The second project is a three-year contract with an existing customer in the Middle East, for whom the AIM traded company will provide voucher and electronic top-up.

James Hume, eServGlobal chief operating officer, said, "We had previously announced the delay of certain new project orders on 10 December 2018 and I am pleased to confirm that the company has now secured the first two of these. Both of these contracts, signed in the Middle East, are illustrative of our long-standing customer relationships and our reputation as a trusted technology provider in the region."

eServGlobal's shares were down 6.25% at 6.37p at 1235 GMT.
