Falanx appoints Craig Dawson as CFO

Cyber security firm Falanx has appointed Craig Dawson as chief financial officer with immediate effect for an initial period of six months.

Dawson will structure the financial organisation and planning of Falanx and attend board meetings, but he will not join the board.

Prior to Falanx, Dawson was finance director and executive committee member at Global Strategies Group, a defence organisation that offers services to meet national security, critical infrastructure protection and enterprise risk management needs.

Before joining Global, he worked in audit and advisory assurance at Deloitte for some FTSE listed technology, media and telecommunications companies.

Chairman Mike Read said: "We are delighted that Craig has chosen to bring his immense experience in the defence and technology sector to Falanx and assist us in building a market leading UK cyber success story, as he has done so many times in the past."

Shares in Falanx were down 3.96% to 6.36p at 1147 GMT.
