Fastnet Equity in talks to acquire Amryt Pharmaceuticals  

Fastnet Equity shares have been suspended from trading after it said it is in advanced discussions for a reverse takeover of Amryt Pharmaceuticals.

The AIM-listed company said on Monday if the acquisition proceeds, the enlarged group will become a late stage, specialty biopharmaceutical company.

It followed shareholders voting in August to an investing policy focussed on acquiring companies or businesses in the healthcare sector particularly those in the biopharma sector.

Trading has been suspended until either the publication of an admission document about the proposed deal or its termination.
