Firestone Diamonds discovers its largest diamond to date

Shares in Firestone Diamonds rose nearly 10% on Wednesday after the AIM-listed miner announced it had discovered its largest diamond to date, a 110 carat gem-quality yellow stone.
The diamond was discovered during a production ramp up phase at its Liqhobong mine in Lesotho.
Chief executive Stuart Brown said the diamond “confirms our long held belief that Liqhobong has large stone potential and I hope this is the first of many to come”.
Shares in Firestone Diamonds were up 9.5% to 49p at 1004 BST.
