Music and audio products company Focusrite said on Thursday that since its year-end, demand for most of its products had continued to be strong.

The AIM-traded firm, which was holding its annual general meeting, said that as a result, revenue in its first quarter was “substantially greater” than the same period in the previous financial year.

“As mentioned at the time of the announcement of the final results for the year ended 31 August, the board remains conscious of global factors that could adversely impact our operations, which it will continue to monitor,” said executive chairman Phil Dudderidge in his short statement.

At 1332 GMT, shares in Focusrite were up 7.14% at 1,050p.
