Forbidden Technologies has launched its first branded channel on ‘eva’ in partnership with Movember.

The AIM-listed company announced the video social network’s move on Monday.

The company has been exploring brand partnership options for eva since it launched in October, as its focus on the quality of the user experience rules out intrusive advertising.

The first branded channel it has created is with men's health charity Movember, which will allow users to track their progress in growing a moustache during November.

Forbidden Technologies chief executive Aziz Musa said they’re proud to be working with Movember as their first channel partner.

“Whilst consumer digital advertising becomes both more challenging, more expensive and relatively less effective, eva channels offer brands a unique way to engage in an authentic dialogue with new and existing customers.

“For eva, branded channels offers consumers great content without actually disrupting the viewing experience.”

The move follows Forbidden's previously announced plans to indirectly monetise the eva platform through its integration with its Captevate online video editing application.
