Marble production company Fox Marble has signed a new contract to provide processed marble to a project in Kosovo, it announced on Thursday.

The AIM-traded firm said it would provide Alexandrian Blue and Alexandrian White marble from its quarry in Macedonia, which would be processed at Fox Marble's factory in Lipjan in Kosovo.

It said the value of the contract was expected to be in the region of €0.1m, and would be supplied during the end of 2021, into 2022.

“This contract to supply our material is a testament to the ongoing work of our staff and team in Kosovo, and further bolsters our order book for the remainder of 2021 and 2022,” said chief executive officer Chris Gilbert.

At 1003 BST, shares in Fox Marble Holdings were down 1.53% at 1.29p.
