Restaurant operator Fulham Shore appeared confident about its full-year results on Monday, updating the market about the 52 weeks to 27 March ahead of the publication of its full numbers.
The board of the AIM-traded company said it expected to report results in line with market expectations for the financial year, having opened an additional Franco Manca site in Stoke Newington and a franchised Bukowski Grill in Soho since December.
Those new openings meant the company opened nine new restaurants during the financial year - one The Real Greek restaurant, seven Franco Manca pizzerias and one Bukowski Grill.
Fulham Shore’s total estate was 29 restaurants at year end - nine The Real Greek restaurants, 19 Franco Manca locations and one Bukowski Grill.
“Fulham Shore is on site and planning to open a further four Franco Manca restaurants in time for summer 2016, including the first two Franco Manca pizzeria outside of London, in Guildford and Brighton,” the firm’s board said in a statement.
“The company continues to build its pipeline of new restaurant openings and to review further investment opportunities.”
Fulham Shore also confirmed it had implemented the government’s national living wage for all employees, including those under 25 years old, which had been fully budgeted for in the company’s growth plans.
It was due to report its results for the year to 27 March in early July.
