Galantas Gold narrows FY loss as Omagh mine output remains suspended

Galantas Gold's shares are flat after it posted a net loss for the year of C$1.6m, from a year-ago net loss of C$1.8m. It said output from the Omagh mine remained suspended.

Sales revenues totalled C$74,068, against C$80,989. Cost of sales, which includes production costs and inventory movement, totalled C$345,057, from C$356,836.

"Following the suspension of production during the fourth quarter of 2013 there have not been any shipments of concentrates from the mine," the company said.

"Production costs were mainly in connection with ongoing care and maintenance costs at the Omagh mine site."

At 14:58 BST, shares in Galantas were flat at 5p each.
