Gaming Realms was celebrating significant growth in 2015 on Wednesday, as it updated the market ahead of its full-year results.

The AIM-listed creator and publisher of mobile real-money and social games said its total revenue for 2015 was up 116% to £21.4m, which was in line with management expectations.

Gaming Realms' real-money gaming revenue for the year was up 305% to £10.8m against the previous year, as the group continued to make good progress in the fourth quarter with real-money gaming revenue up 39% on the previous quarter.

Total revenues in the fourth quarter were up 13.5% to £7.1m.

The company also made progress with its publishing strategy, signing three agreements involving its Slingo games format. The agreements included a three-year deal with FremantleMedia extending Slingo into the X-Factor brand, a deal with Endemol involving the Deal or No Deal brand, and a licensing agreement with social games developer Zynga to bring a Slingo-branded slot game to the social casino market.

"We are excited by what has already been achieved in social gaming following the acquisition of RealNetwork Inc's mobile games assets as we look to build out our games offering and publishing capabilities", said Gaming Realms CEO Patrick Southon.

Commenting on the three new agreements, Southon said "these agreements will open the group up to new player audiences and revenue streams".

Gaming Realms expected to report its 2015 results in April 2016.
