AIM-listed specialist engineering and technology recruitment company Gattaca has appointed Salar Farzad as chief financial officer.
He will replace current CFO Tony Dyer, who has decided to pursue other interests after 21 years with the group. Dyer - who has resigned from the board with immediate effect - will remain at Gattaca until the end of this month to ensure a smooth transition.
Farzad joins Gattaca from television production company Zodiak Media, where he was group CFO from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, he held senior financial roles at Macmillan Science and Education, 2Entertain, MTV Networks International and EMI.
Chairman Patrick Shanley said: "We are delighted to welcome Salar to the group. His extensive international experience will add considerable value as the company continues to expand its non-UK business."
At 1500 BST, the shares were down 1.6% to 320p.
