Goldbridges Global Resources set to become 'Altyn'

GoldBridges Global Resources was about to be no more on Tuesday, as a the company took on a new moniker - Altyn.

The AIM-traded firm held a general meeting on 16 December, proposing a special resolution to change its name to Altyn.

Its board reported that the resolution was passed, with more than 1.6 million votes in favour of the resolution and just under 0.65 million against it.

Around 0.3m votes were withheld.

“The change of name to Altyn will become effective and trading of the company's shares under this name will commence at 0800 GMT on 21 December,” the board said in a statement.
