Harvest Minerals clears Brazilian regulatory hurdle

Natural fertiliser producer Harvest Minerals announced on Wednesday that the application to register KPfértil, the company's multi-nutrient natural fertiliser, has been processed by the Ministry of Agriculture in Brazil, and that all questions and information requested have been provided.
The AIM-traded firm said MAPA was now required to conduct a site visit to its Arapua project, most likely for later in April.
It anticipated that the registration would then be granted shortly after that.
“The certification process for KPfértil as a remineraliser has taken longer than we initially thought, although I'd like to reiterate that there have been no issues with KPfértil itself,” said Harvest’s executive chairman Brian McMaster.
“The delay has not impacted on our day to day activities or our ability to produce and sell KPfértil as demonstrated by the signing of a 36Kt sales contract at the start of the month.
“Our focus is now on growing sales and revenues and I look forward to providing further updates.”
