Hercules Site Services inks deals with two water companies
Hercules Site Services announced new contracts totalling £5.75m for its civil projects division on Wednesday.
The AIM-traded firm said the contracts would involve crucial work across eight wastewater treatment and water management projects, serving two significant clients.
Thames Water awarded contracts worth £3.78m across six sites, with the most significant being valued at £2.2m, focussed on sewage treatment works in Crawley, West Sussex.
Additionally, Anglian Water had granted contracts worth £1.97m, spanning two sites.
The largest of those contracts, valued at £1.29m, would be centred around the water pumping station in Etton, near Peterborough.
“These further wins are testament to our strong position as a trusted supplier to the UK water industry and build on the contracts previously announced in September with these two important clients,” said Hercules construction director Paul Field.
“The UK water industry has pledged to invest £10bn to provide a cleaner, safer infrastructure network, and Hercules is well placed to help deliver on this given our expertise in the space.”
At 1123 GMT, shares in Hercules Site Services were down 1.96% at 24.02p.
