Holders Technology announced the creation of a 50-50 joint venture with Senson on Friday, to be known as Holders Technology Data Analytics (HTDA).

The AIM-traded firm said the new joint venture would combine the technical sales resources of its lighting and controls divisions, with the data analytics expertise of Senson division Sentistic.

It said HTDA would provide data visualisation and insights based on data from buildings using the Casambi wireless lighting control system, as well as data from other third-party sources.

Clients would also be able to integrate data from the Holders Analytics solution into their existing building management systems.

“We are very happy to be announcing this joint venture with Sentistic and believe that our solution provides customers with an easy way to manage their lighting, energy and occupancy requirements in any building,” said group managing director Victoria Blaisdell.

At 1011 BST, shares in Holders Technology were up 2.05% at 39.8p.
