Information management software supplier Ideagen announced on Thursday that over the past month it has been awarded three important contracts with new customers in “key vertical markets”, worth a combined £1.2m.

The AIM-traded company said two of the new contracts represent key customer wins in the aviation sector.

Canadian airline Air Transat and Dutch airline KLM selected Ideagen to implement vital risk-based compliance solutions to help drive operational excellence and enhance customer safety, the board said.

The two carriers are the latest aviation customers to select Ideagen products, and the group now has around 300 aviation customers including more than 100 regional and national airlines.

In addition, Medway NHS Trust selected Ideagen to provide a secure platform to enable the Trust's laboratories to electronically communicate with GP practices, streamlining the clinical test process.

It is intended the system will drive operational efficiencies and further improve patient care.

“We are delighted to have secured these new customer contracts which extend the use of our software within two key vertical markets,” said Ideagen CEO David Hornsby.

“Today we have over 2,000 customers and many of these are within healthcare and aviation.

“These contracts demonstrate the opportunity to continue to grow both our key market sectors and the technical capability of our solutions.”
