Induction Healthcare signs reseller agreement with System C
Digital health platform provider Induction Healthcare has signed a non-exclusive software reseller agreement with System C Healthcare - a supplier of health and social care information technology systems and services - for the ‘Induction Zesty’ product in the UK.
The AIM-traded firm described Induction Zesty as a digital patient engagement portal that enables end-to-end healthcare management.
It said the portal's interface provides a “fully automated process” for patients to manage their hospital appointments, view their letters and clinical records, and provide data remotely via digital questionnaires from a smartphone.
System C, meanwhile, specialises in providing health and social care solutions across whole care communities.
Induction said its product portfolio included the ‘CareFlow EPR’, an electronic patient record (EPR) system which was currently used in 30 NHS trusts across the UK.
As part of the agreement, System C would now actively sell Induction Zesty to its new and existing customers using CareFlow EPR.
The non-exclusive agreement covered an initial three-year term with automatic 12 month renewals thereafter.
“We have a long-standing relationship with System C, one of the largest domestic suppliers of EPR software to the NHS, and it is a great step forward to be formally partnered with them under a value-added reseller agreement,” said chief executive officer James Balmain.
“Given System C's market share and their ability to reach customers efficiently via their direct sales force, we expect to see significant revenue generated via this partnership over the coming years.”
Balmain said that, together with the company’s value-added reseller agreement with Cerner Corporation, Induction now had access to more than 40% of acute hospitals through reseller agreements.
“This agreement with System C acts as further material reinforcement of our strategy to partner with, and build on top of, the key underlying systems used by hospitals.”
At 1140 BST, shares in Induction Healthcare Group were up 10.53% at 52.5p.
