Gaming industry technology provider Quixant announced on Wednesday that CEO Nick Jarmany would, for the duration of medical treatment he required, pass on his executive responsibilities to chief operating officer Jon Jayal.

The AIM-traded firm confirmed Jarmany would remain on the board during this time.

“Since founding Quixant we have built a strong management team, including the appointment of Jon Jayal to the board as chief operating officer,” Nick Jarmany explained.

“As one of the three founding directors, I am confident that the structure and quality of management we have in place is more than capable of continuing the growth of the group in my absence.”
