Kistos Holdings updated the market on the recent shutdown of the Shetland Gas Plant on Monday, which it announced on 12 December.

The AIM-traded firm - a joint venture partner in the Greater Laggan Area and co-owner of the Shetland Gas Plant, confirmed that the plant had successfully resumed gas exports on 16 December after addressing issues in the heating medium system.

It confirmed that the plant's operations had now safely resumed.

"We would like to thank the teams at TotalEnergies for their swift and highly professional approach to this incident, both in the immediate response, and then the subsequent investigation and implementation of the engineering works to successfully ensure the plant was safely restarted and back to full production," said executive chairman Andrew Austin.

At 0933 GMT, shares in Kistos Holdings were flat at 170p.
