Koovs to extend partnership with investor HT Media

Indian online fashion retailer Koovs is to extend its strategic partnership with its investor HT MEdia by profiling five women for International Women's Day on 8 March.

This deal is part of the strategic partnership between Koovs and HT Media, which has invested £3m in the AIM-listed company and holds a 6% stake.

Interviews with actress Richa Chadda, athlete Namrata Purohit, stylist Sanjana Batra, comedienne Kaneez Surka and chef Bani Nanda will appear in HT Media’s newspaper The Hindustan Times and its radio station Fever 104 FM.

Piyush Gupta, chief financial officer at HT Media, said that he has “huge belief in the long-term investment prospect” with Koovs.

Koovs chief executive Mary Turner said; "Koovs now has over 2m social media followers and … this campaign brings together the reach of HT Media's channels with Koovs’ following”.

Shares in Koovs were up 0.53% to 47p at 1020 GMT.
