Mineral explorer Landore Resources has kicked off a drilling and geophysics campaign on the Junior Lake nickel-copper PGE site in Ontario.
The London-listed company said it has begun the programme, which consists of 2,500 metre, nine-hole diamond NQ, drilling programme on the B4-7 deposit and along the trend to the west and to the east to test targets identified, following the recommendations from and independent geophysicist’s review published in September.
Landore said that all three drill-holes completed so far have successfully intersected mineralisation, adding it has engaged WSP Canada to complete a “geotechnical study and report to pre-feasibility standard pit design parameters” on the proposed B4-7 open pit.
Landore shares were down 6.67% to 0.700p at 0924 GMT on Tuesday.
