Light Science Technologies receives follow-on sports entertainment order

Technology designer and manufacturer Light Science Technologies said on Thursday that it has received a follow-on sports entertainment order within its contract electronics manufacturing division.

Light Science Technologies said it has received an additional order from an unnamed customer in the sports entertainment segment, worth £134,250, the customer's fourth order since its first in February 2024, taking the total order value to £537,000 and the total number of units to 20,000.

The AIM-listed group stated the project was anticipated for delivery to the customer across October and November 2024, with revenues recognised during the current financial year.

Light Science Technologies added that with 18 operational venues across the UK and US and eight more currently under construction, it sees "significant potential" for growing orders as the client expands, with repeat business to replace units at the end of their lifecycle.

As of 0935 BST, Light Science Technologies shares were up 3.51% at 2.95p.
