Mercom Capital reveals discussions with Calvet International

Mercom Capital announced on Friday that it is in discussions regarding an indicative proposal from Calvet International.

The AIM-traded firm said the proposal includes a very material fundraising at a substantial premium to Thursday night's closing price.

“It is the [board’s] intention that the general meeting called for 27 October be opened and closed without the proposed resolutions being tabled,” Mercon Capital said in a statement.

“There can be no certainty at this point in time that any agreement will be reached with Calvet.”
