Communications and advertising group Mission Marketing expects to report first-half results in line with expectations after its streak of interim revenue and profit growth extended into an eighth year.

Mission said results for the first half of its year would be in line with its KPI targets of revenue growth of 5% and headline pre-tax profit growth of 10% from continuing operations.

Throughout the half, the AIM-listed group settled £3.1m of obligations related to acquisitions made in prior years and cut its net bank debt to £5.2m from the £7.8m the group owed twelve months earlier.

Looking forward, Mission highlighted that as in previous years, it expects the group's results for the year ending 31 December 2019 to have "a significant bias towards the second half".

As of 0915 BST, Mission shares had slumped 4.64% to 87.25p.
